I’ve gone down a rabbit hole over the last few months drawing crushed trading cards from the 90’s. It started with the Michael Jordan card, then I channeled my inner 8 year old and started drawing some of my favourite Rugby League cards from an iconic era in Australian sport.
As a Cronulla Sharks tragic I first drew the Andrew Ettingshausen card, then a couple of other Rugby League legends – Andrew Johns, Mal Meninga and Peter Sterling. Check out (and purchase if you’re so inclined) this entire series here.
I’ve finally chopped together all the time lapse videos so you can see how they came together – there’s almost 200 hours of drawing time in these four artworks alone.
