I never went to art school. I don’t draw in a traditional way. I guess my approach is different because I take inspiration more from photography than traditional drawing. I look for powerful images, then I set a challenge for myself to recreate it as closely as possible. Lately I’ve been really interested in intriguing lighting setups, stark shadows and low key lighting.

The original drawing took Dean 73 hours to complete in his unique photo-realistic drawing style. The Giclee print reproduction is produced using Epson UltraChrome archival inks on premium Ultra Matt 250gsm paper to ensure artwork longevity and authentic artwork reproduction.
