I never went to art school. I don’t draw in a traditional way. I guess my approach is different because I take inspiration more from photography than traditional drawing. I look for powerful images, then I set a challenge for myself to recreate it as closely as possible. Lately I’ve been really interested in intriguing lighting setups, stark shadows and low key lighting.
