2019 Dobell Prize Entry | Dean Spinks Art

My entry for the 2019 Dobell Drawing Prize. The brief called for artists to acknowledge the foundational principals of drawing, while also encouraging challenging and expansive approaches to drawing. For my entry, I wanted to experiment with a more abstract direction from my usual approach, while still including my usual favourites; portraiture and photorealism.
