I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that came out to check out my artworks at The Other Art Fair Sydney! After all the lockdowns it was amazing to finally be able to show my work again for the first time in two years. What I enjoy most about these shows is chatting to actual real people, explaining my process and some of the decisions behind my artworks.
I can’t say enough good things about The Other Art Fair – The Cutaway Barangaroo is an unrivalled location for an event like this and the team behind TOAF do an incredible job at running it like a well-oiled machine.
This was by far the most impressive collection of artists I’ve seen so far, and it’s always so reassuring to talk to other artists on a similar journey. We live a fairly solitary existence toiling away alone in our studios so part of what makes TOAF so great is networking with other artists, I’ve never felt a competitive vibe at these shows, everyone is there to support each other.
